Optimalisasi Layanan Publik Sekolah melalui Pembangunan Website SMK N 1 Muara Bungo

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance public service quality at SMK N 1 Muara Bungo through the development of a school website as a digital information and administrative platform. Prior to this activity, the school lacked an official medium for delivering structured and accessible information to students, parents, and the public, resulting in ineffective communication and administrative processes that relied heavily on manual methods. To address these issues, the team designed and developed a school website featuring activity publications, school profiles, administrative services, and information menus accessible to all stakeholders. Training sessions were provided to teachers and administrative staff to equip them with the skills needed for independent website content management. The program outcomes indicate an increase in digital competency among school personnel as well as the availability of an official platform that supports transparency and efficiency in public services. The website is expected to serve as a strategic foundation for the school’s digital transformation toward more responsive and integrated public services.
