SISTEM MONITORING MINAT BAKAT SISWA BERBASIS WEB DI SMK KREATIF DOMPU INTERNASIONAL ISLAMIC SCHOOL

Abstract

SMK Kreatif Dompu Internasional Islamic School memiliki komitmen untuk mengembangkan potensi siswa melalui pemetaan minat dan bakat. Namun, dalam pelaksanaannya, proses pemantauan minat dan bakat siswa masih dilakukan secara terpisah karena hasil tes diperoleh dari berbagai lembaga pihak ketiga, baik dari dalam maupun luar sekolah, sehingga belum tersedia pusat data yang terintegrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sistem monitoring minat bakat siswa berbasis web yang dapat membantu sekolah dalam mengelola, memantau, dan menyajikan data minat dan bakat siswa secara terstruktur dan berkelanjutan. Sistem ini dikembangkan menggunakan metode Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dengan model prototype. Teknologi yang digunakan meliputi bahasa pemrograman PHP, framework Laravel, dan database MySQL. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah sistem berbasis web yang menyediakan fitur pengelolaan data siswa, pengelolaan hasil minat dan bakat, serta laporan yang dapat diakses oleh kepala sekolah sebagai bahan pengambilan keputusan penjurusan dan rekomendasi karier siswa. Diharapkan sistem ini dapat meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi monitoring minat dan bakat siswa di SMK Kreatif Dompu Internasional Islamic School.

SMK Kreatif Dompu International Islamic School is committed to developing students’ potential through interest and talent mapping. However, in practice, the monitoring process of students’ interests and talents is still conducted separately because the test results are obtained from various third-party institutions, both inside and outside the school, resulting in the absence of an integrated data center. This research aims to develop a web-based Student Interest and Talent Monitoring System to assist the school in managing, monitoring, and presenting students’ interest and talent data in a structured and continuous manner. The system is developed using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a prototype model. The technologies used include PHP programming language, Laravel framework, and MySQL database. The result of this research is a web-based system that provides features for student data management, interest and talent result management, and reporting that can be accessed by the principal to support decision-making in student major selection and career recommendations. This system is expected to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of monitoring students’ interests and talents at SMK Kreatif Dompu International Islamic School.
