Abstract

Digital transformation in the healthcare sector has become a necessity to support service quality
improvements, one of which is through a hospital accreditation system. However, in reality, many hospitals still record
and manage accreditation data manually using physical documents or simple spreadsheets, which risks causing delays,
data redundancy, entry errors, and minimal reporting effectiveness. This study aims to design and build an Android-
based application that can perform CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) processes on hospital accreditation data
using the Kotlin programming language and a local SQLite database. This application is designed to be operated
offline so that it remains functional in environments with limited internet connectivity. This study uses a software
engineering approach with the waterfall method, starting from requirements analysis, user interface design, program
code implementation, and system testing using the black-box method. The results of this study indicate that the
developed application can help hospitals manage accreditation data in a more structured, fast, and efficient manner.
The implementation of this application not only simplifies the recording process but also improves data accuracy and
facilitates historical information retrieval. This application has the potential to be integrated with other hospital
information systems in further development
