Abstract

The management of lecturer data in higher education institutions is often carried out manually or through
conventional applications with limited capabilities, which complicates data retrieval, updates, and cross-device access. To address
these issues, this study developed a web-based Lecturer Management System with Progressive Web App (PWA) support, enabling
offline functionality, responsive design, and automatic data synchronization when the internet connection is restored. The system
is built using React for a dynamic and interactive frontend and Supabase as a modern cloud-based backend providing authentication,
data storage, and security through Row Level Security (RLS). The system’s core features include full CRUD operations (Create,
Read, Update, Delete), advanced search and filtering by lecturer ID (NIDN), functional position, and certification status. The final
result is a modern web application that can be installed on user devices, continues to function without an internet connection, and
provides a clean, lightweight, and intuitive user interface. This system is expected to serve as an effective solution for the digital
transformation of lecturer administration in universities.
